Say, "Hello" to Claire

Some overdue information this week...Claire Kinnane is joining Jay Payne on Crystal Clear. Claire has been helping re-write the book for the last few months.
Kinnane is a Fine Arts major planning to join the world of teaching in the immediate future. Her inclusion on Crystal Clear sparked from a genuine interest after reading the first issue (she knew Jay previous to all this). Seeing how the main character is a female it only seemed fitting to get a woman's voice into the series.
Claire doesn't have much of an internet presence (and I wouldn't dare post her Facebook page for the world to see), so all I can tell you about her is that her favorite color is "fear," she goes to see Aerosmith in concert whenever they are in town and she hopes to one day teach literature for colleges. You can expect to see her contribution as a writer on Crystal Clear starting with issue #2 (TBA).

Cover to Bamn #3 revealed!

Not a hoax! Not a figment of your imagination! Bamn #3 does exist and here is the proof! Jay has been working intensely to figure out the best way to grayscale the interiors of Bamn, as well as strengthen the colors on the cover.
Told you we were really working on issue #3! (or maybe we just made a cover and it still doesn't exist.)

BTW, DCC is having their monthly meeting at the National Portrait Gallery. Darwyn Cooke (DC: New Frontier, Catwoman, The Hunter) is giving a lecture there on Saturday (1/30/2010) and we all intend to be there: http://comicsdc.blogspot.com/2009/11/130-darwyn-cooke-at-national-portrait.html

I'll see you next week,

Hi...

Uh, hey! How are things? Good, good.

*Ahem*

Man, the weather is crazy, huh? Cold one day. Hot the next. Weird.

So, yeah...

I, uh...uh, um...OKAY, OKAY! I got nothing to update this week! Nothing! It's all the same as last week: the art for Bamn #3 ain't finished, I haven't wrote #4, SPX isn't for 8 months, and last week when Jay and I met, all we did was watch Hurt Locker! There! You got me! I said it. Maybe I'll have something next week. Move on. Nothing to see here...
